Last year was one of those uncooperative years; the show all but got rained out. Around 40 hardy souls brought vehicles out and showed their support for a great club and group of people.
What a difference a year makes…
That wasn’t the case this year; sunny, 80+ degrees out, over 125 registered vehicles and tons of people checking it out. This was the 3rd year that the No Regrets WA and ID groups to put on there annual show at the XXX Root Beer in Issaquah, WA.
The show was a blast to be at; between the quality rides, the great family events, getting to eat and drink a huge Root Beer float at the very last one of the XXX Root Beer Drive-Ins, and near perfect weather, you would be hard pressed to find something to not like about the show.
What I really like about this group, is even though judging was running a little behind schedule, they made sure the family events happened and that everyone had a great time. From the bubble gum blow off, the frozen garment contest, to the baby bottle root beer chug, and the tricycle slalom, the kids and adults had an awesome time (even competing head to head against each other).
After watching Shane propose to Nancy, it was time for the awards. The crew from No Regrets got busy handing out some great looking trophies. After all of the 3rd through 1st place category trophies were handed out, it was time for the really cool Best of’s and specialty trophies. If your club or name isn’t mentioned, get a hold of me so I can make the corrections.
